Σήμερα, οι Γερμανοί black metal masters NACHTBLUT κυκλοφόρησαν το ζοφερό τρίτο single τους “Das Leben der Anderen” [Eng: The Lives of Others], κομμένο από το επερχόμενο έβδομο στούντιο άλμπουμ τους Todschick [Eng: Dead chic], που κυκλοφορεί αυτή την Παρασκευή μέσω της Napalm Records.

Μετά το επιτυχημένο άλμπουμ τους “Vanitas” (2020), το οποίο έφτασε στο νούμερο 19 στα επίσημα γερμανικά charts, το κουαρτέτο επεκτείνει τον ήχο του με ένα πολύπλευρο μείγμα στιλιστικών στοιχείων και ήχων συνθεσάιζερ που αποτίουν φόρο τιμής στη δεκαετία του ’80, μεταξύ άλλων επιρροών.
Σε παραγωγή του Chris Harms (Lord of the Lost), το άλμπουμ θα κυκλοφορήσει επίσης σε ένα αποκλειστικό ξύλινο box set με ένα bonus CD που θα περιέχει επτά επιπλέον κομμάτια και συναρπαστικές συνεργασίες με μεγάλους της σκηνής.

Εν τω μεταξύ, το σκοτεινό, new-wave-synth κομμάτι “Manchmal kommen sie wieder” εξερευνά τους αιώνιους κύκλους της δημιουργίας, της καταστροφής και του πολέμου.
Κομμάτια όπως το “Kinder des Zorns” προσκαλούν το headbanging με ιδιαίτερα σκληρά riffs και tempo. Με το “Schneller als der Tod”, η μπάντα επιχειρεί σε εντελώς νέα μουσικά εδάφη, συνδυάζοντας άψογα επικά στοιχεία άγριας δύσης με τους ισχυρούς ήχους του dark metal.

Today, German dark metal masters NACHTBLUT have released their gloomy third single “Das Leben der Anderen” [Eng: The Lives of Others], cut from their upcoming seventh studio album Todschick [Eng: Dead chic], out this Friday via Napalm Records.

In the age of social media, this sentiment is more relevant than ever. The melancholic track “Das Leben der Anderen” captures a deep sense of loneliness and isolation, reflecting the all-too-common feeling of being left behind while everyone else seems to be thriving. Underlined by Askeroth’s guttural screams and explosive synths, this offering elevates their sound to new heights as the band prepares to showcase this and more Todschick tracks on tour, starting this Friday!
