Οι melancholy goth doomsters της Φινλανδίας HANGING GARDEN μεταδίδουν ένα lyric video για το νέο τους τραγούδι “To Seize The Night”.
Είναι το κεντρικό κομμάτι από το ολοκαίνουργιο EP του συγκροτήματος “The Unending”, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε σήμερα στις 14 Μαρτίου από την Agonia Records.
Το βίντεο καταγράφηκε σε ένα εγκαταλελειμμένο νησί εξόρυξης κοντά στο Ναγκασάκι της Ιαπωνίας.

Εμβαθύνοντας στις τελετουργίες, τις πεποιθήσεις και τις υπαρξιακές έννοιες που είναι εγγενείς στη φύση της ανθρωπότητας και των πολιτισμών της, οι HANGING GARDEN συνεχίζουν τη θεματική συνέχεια του προηγούμενου ολοκληρωμένου άλμπουμ τους, “The Garden”.
Η τελευταία τους δουλειά, ένα μίνι-άλμπουμ που φέρει το όνομα “The Unending”, είναι μια ενότητα τεσσάρων τραγουδιών, με θεματικά σημεία εστίασης αυτά της επιμονής και του αποκρυφισμού, της επιστροφής σε μια αρμονία με τη φύση και τις ανελέητες δυνάμεις της.
Για άλλη μια φορά, μια αισθητική αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ φωτός και σκότους, παραφωνίας και αρμονίας, γαλήνης και αγριότητας, το μυθιστόρημα μουσικό έργο των HANGING GARDEN επιδιώκει να προσφέρει στον ακροατή ένα ταξίδι μέσα από το συναίσθημα και την πνευματικότητα, μέσα από τα λιβάδια και τις ερημιές τους, και στη συλλογική ψυχή της ανθρωπότητας.

Η παραγωγή του “The Unending” έγινε από τους Jussi Hämäläinen και Jarno Hänninen και η μίξη και το mastering από τον Jarno Hänninen στο D-studio. Το εξώφυλλο & layout έχει δημιουργηθεί από Kalle Pyyhtinen.

Οι HAGNING GARDEN ήρθαν στη ζωή το 2004 με ένα πρώιμο στυλ που περιελάμβανε βαριά, doom-oriented metal μουσική.

Finland’s melancholic goth doomsters HANGING GARDEN are streaming a lyric video for their new song “To Seize The Night”. It’s the focus track from the band’s brand new EP “The Unending”, which releases today (March 14th) on Agonia Records. The video was recorded at an abandoned mining island near Nagasaki, Japan.

Delving deeper into the rituals, beliefs and existential concepts intrinsic to the nature of humanity and its cultures, HANGING GARDEN continues the thematic continuum of their previous full-length album, “The Garden”. Their latest work, a mini-album bearing the name “The Unending”, is a four song entity, its thematic focal points those of perseverance and the occult, of returning to a harmony with nature and the remorseless forces therein. Once again, an aesthetic interplay between light and darkness, dissonance and harmony, serenity and ferocity, HANGING GARDEN’s novel musical work seeks to provide the listener with a journey through emotion and spirituality, through their meadows and wastelands, and onwards into the collective soul of humanity.

“The Unending” was produced by Jussi Hämäläinen and Jarno Hänninen and mixed & mastered by Jarno Hänninen at D-studio. The cover art & layout was created by Kalle Pyyhtinen.

HAGNING GARDEN was brought to life in 2004 with an early style that encompassed heavy, doom-oriented metal music. Roughly two decades, seven albums and a couple of line-up shuffles later, the Finns shifted to a more melodic, contemporary sound, which is rooted in dark atmosphere, and leans towards open-minded and playful musicality.
While still entrenched in metal, HANGING GARDEN possesses a versatile, many-layered style of playing, male & female vocals, and draws influence & inspiration from music and art, far and wide.
