With roots going back to 1989, the band is a cornerstone of the extreme Greek sound, having created its own dark, mysterious world!

Their first record, Unspeakable Cults (1996), blazed a trail full of literary references, ritualistic atmosphere and imposing melodies, gaining the attention of the global underground. Transmission to Chaos (1998) followed, continuing to explore themes of occult philosophy and esotericism, while Running Sore (2002) revealed a more aggressive and emotionally charged face of the band.

Thy Blackest Love (2003) was a collection of rare and unreleased material, and further reinforced the Deviser mythology. Seasons of Darkness (2011), an independently released album, contained compositions from 2006-2011 and marked a new artistic phase.

The band returned to record in 2017 with the EP Howling Flames, while their most recent full-length album, Evil Summons Evil (2022), finds the band in its most mature and imposing form, with compositions that move between dark romanticism, eerie atmospheres and mystical intensity.

They have performed alongside bands such as Venom, Emperor, Rotting Christ, Ancient Rites and have left their mark at many festivals and live shows.
With new material and endless creative energy, Deviser returns to Chania to make history.
