After Marcus Bischoff had to cut HSB’s Rock am Ring performance short due to an undetected infection, there’s now an update for the band’s upcoming shows: Britta Görtz is stepping in!
Since HEAVEN SHALL BURN had to cancel their set at Rock am Ring after just one song, both the band and frontman Marcus Bischoff have shared some updates on the current situation. After seeing a specialist, Marcus was diagnosed with an undetected infection that now requires rest and recovery. But HEAVEN SHALL BURN are determined not to cancel more summer shows than absolutely necessary. That’s why, for the upcoming concerts in Kufstein and this weekend, vocalist Britta Görtz will be filling in for Marcus. You might already know Britta from her Melodic Death Metal band HIRAES! With her powerful vocals, she’ll do the HSB setlist more than justice.
Bischoff himself approved the plan, stating: “So, we have a plan! None other than Britta from HIRAES will be representing me at the shows tomorrow in Kufstein and next weekend! Give her a proper welcome, show her what HSB fans are capable of, and make these shows something truly special in the band’s history! We’re really looking forward to it! Things are looking up for me too! Your Molle and the HSB guys!”
