HELLOWEEN: New cover art for upcoming “Giants & Monsters” album revealed

German Power Metal legends HELLOWEEN have unveiled the official cover art for their upcoming “Giants & Monsters” album. The cover is done by Eliran Kantor – responsible for the artwork on their 2021 self-titled album.

“Giants & Monsters” is due for release on August 29th via Reigning Phoenix Music.

The previous image with the hand appearing out of the lake seems to have been a placeholder.

The band says: “The wait is over. Here’s the cover of ‘Giants & Monsters’! A powerful vision painted 🎨 by Artist Eliran Kantor, capturing the heart of our upcoming album. Out August 29th, 2025. Brace yourselves.”

Eliran Kantor: “With the previous album cover giving the spotlight to the Keeper, I wanted this one to allow Jack O’ to get the focus. With uplifting lyrics about mankind’s positive inner potential, Jack O’ manifests an everflowing fountain of water ushering a flood that’s drowning the monsters. The style of the painting itself is a tip of the hat to the video games I grew up on, those were the superheroes that had an impact on me, and I still reach out to those playfull instincts when approaching creativity.”

HELLOWEEN recently shared a new video along with the following introduction: “Step inside the legendary Wisseloord Studios with HELLOWEEN! Captured by Franz Schepers, join us as we welcome press from all over Europe for our exclusive pre-listening session. Experience the energy, excitement, and first reactions to what’s coming next—this is a journey for all true HELLOWEEN fans!”

HELLOWEEN issued the following update back in April:

“We locked ourselves in a studio, summoned some giants, wrestled a few monsters, and somehow came out with a brand-new album: ‘Giants & Monsters’ (it also smells like victory and possibly dragon breath). The album is DONE.

And because we’re terrible at keeping secrets (and even worse at waiting)…

Ready to enter the realm of riffs, roars, and ridiculous solos? Tracklist incoming. Brace yourselves. Or don’t. We’re not your parents.”
