French Death Metal band NARAKA, has released the title track if their upcoming album “Born In Darkness”, which will be released worldwide on October 24th via Art Gates Records.
Blending groove-heavy riffing with a dark, emotionally charged atmosphere, “Born In Darkness” introduces the conceptual core of the album. The track dives into the destructive path of mankind and the irreversible impact on nature, a reflection of the chaos we’re born into.
The track was composed, arranged, and written by Jean-Philippe Porteux. Mixed and mastered by Logan Mader.
NARAKA was founded in 2019 by Jean-Philippe Porteux, the band’s guitarist. NARAKAs style is a mix of Modern Metal and Death Metal with symphonic and sometimes even electro touches.
Although NARAKA’s debut album marks their official entry, the band members are seasoned veterans of the French Metal scene, bringing a powerful and sophisticated sound to the table. Hailing from Paris, NARAKA combines dark symphonic elements reminiscent of SEPTICFLESH with intense Death Metal, creating a dramatic and atmospheric experience without losing focus on their core instrumentation. This blend of expertise and ambition positions NARAKA as one of the most promising modern acts emerging from France’s metal scene.
NARAKA toured throughout Europe, supporting CRADLE OF FILTH, ALCEST, NILE, and KRISIUN.
