“Six Feet Under” is part of a story that is told through all the tracks on our upcoming EP titled “Bloodspill”.
The protagonist has captured his enemy, the oppressive boss from his job.
He promises him that for everything he has gone through in his monotonous and pushy job, he will torture and bury him six feet under the ground. So the track begins with a heavy sound and a fast pace.
But as time passes the anger starts to turn into paranoia and leads into the song’s bizarre and paranoid outro to transition into “Bloodspill””.
Patriotic technical death metallers Scorched Earth share the single “Six Feet Under”, a track that is included in the concept debut EP “Bloodspill” which will be released in July 2025.
The visualizer video of “Six Feet Under” is produced by Tuneform.
The single is available on Bandcamp, Spotify and all major digital platforms.
“The artwork depicts the Bloodspill scene, the final stage in the protagonist’s journey.
Inside a narrow, almost crumbling basement, he holds a knife, with torturous tools around him and his boss tied up in front of him. The “boss” symbolizes his rage and general anger at the world – he is not a person, but a symbol.
The scene is framed in black, as if viewed through a keyhole; for the protagonist, it all feels more like a dream than reality.”

A few words about the band Scorched Earth:
Scorched Earth is a metal band based in Patras, that made its first steps in the local music scene in 2023.
Having a base in groove and heavy metal, they aim to create a sound that is both dynamic and atmospheric.
Inspired by a wide range of influences-from classic ’80s heavy metal to more modern death, groove and progressive metal-their music combines powerful riffs, intense rhythms and vocals with screams in a style that is uniquely their own.
