SHATTERHEART: Released their debut EP “Ground Turns To Dust”

Shatterheart is a brand new symphonic/power metal band from Sweden that was originally formed in the Swedish metal capital, Gothenburg in 2023, but it wasn’t until the fall of 2024 that the full line-up of the band became a reality.

The band consists of Johan Bergman (guitars), Alicke Kostopoulou (vocals), Olle Bengtsson (drums), Jonathan Strand (bass) and finally, Daniel Lyngsaa Larsson (keyboards). Johan Bergman, as the mastermind behind the musical compositions, crossed paths with Alicke and together they worked on creating and developing ideas that became a series of majestic songs.

This was followed by a debut album with a total of 10 songs, mixed and mastered by the legendary Studio Fredman, waiting to be released. The band released a brand new music video as their first single titled “A Shattered Heart”, as well as an EP as a teaser for the album, titled “Ground turns to Dust”.

A new video for the song “Betrayal” is scheduled to be recorded/produced in late June 2025. Although the band may be brand new, the members have toured and performed in many countries and festivals over the years.
