It’s been eight months since Canadian quintet ARCHSPIRE announced band auditions following Spencer Prewett’s departure. But, now, the band can finally say they have a new drummer, and get this, they have the same first name. Not weird at all.
“Some say less is more… But WE believe MOORE is more… Next month, we’re heading to Flatline Audio to finish our fifth (and best) album with the best drummer we could ask for: SPENCER MOORE!!!”, wrote ARCHSPIRE of their new drummer and forthcoming record.
“Here’s a taste of Spencer 2 tearing through a brand new track. 420 (bpm) isn’t just for stoners anymore.”
Moore also shared some thoughts, on his personal Instagram account: “Well, the cat’s out of the bag! Your boy is the new drummer for ARCHSPIRE. Been real quiet on socials lately because I’ve been devoting all of my time to prepping for recording this album next month.
That being said, with a heavy heart I must announce my departure from INFERI. I love those boys so much, but there is no way that I could be fully present in two bands with schedules as busy as they are. I’m eternally grateful for INFERI and everyone who’s been in our camp over the last nearly eight years. I’ve had the most incredible experiences of my life thus far with these dudes, they mean the world to me and I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without them.
Rags to Riffage 2 is still on though!! We got the mega homie Nathan Bigelow in my place for that tour and he is gonna absolutely crush it. Please go support the INFERI fam and buy all the merch, the setlist is great, the lineup is sick and it is not a tour to be missed.
