Music for Nations

Music For Nations is an iconic British independent record label, founded in February 1983 by Martin Hooker, former director of Secret Records.Focusing primarily on genres such as heavy metal, doom metal, speed metal, thrash metal, and glam metal. In the 1980s, it also played an important role in the distribution of American metal releases, such as Metallica – Kill ‘Em All, and other major bands like Slayer, and Megadeth.
Music For Nations closed in 2004, but reopened in 2015 under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment.
