Rockstadt Extreme Fest is Romania’s premier extreme metal festival and one of the most respected events of its kind in Southeastern Europe. Since 2013, it has been held in Râșnov, Transylvania, at the foot of the town’s medieval fortress.
The festival is known for its unique fusion of extreme music genres (death, black, thrash, doom, hardcore, progressive metal) with a natural and historical setting that gives it an immersive, almost mythical atmosphere. Every year, over 100 bands from around the world perform across multiple stages, offering five intense days of music, culture, and metal unity.
