Οι THE GREAT SEA παρουσιάζουν με υπερηφάνεια άλλο ένα τραγούδι από το επερχόμενο ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους “Noble Art Of Desolation”, που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 25 Απριλίου 2025 μέσω της AOP Records.

Ο κιθαρίστας SH σχολιάζει:
“Το τραγούδι είναι για την ψυχρή και μυστικιστική έκσταση ενός νεκρού χειμώνα.
Τα φωνητικά του Α είναι τόσο κοφτά όσο και οι κιθάρες, εκφράζοντας το παγωμένο. Η ψυχρότητα αντανακλάται και στους στίχους”.

Καθώς ο κόσμος γίνεται πιο σύγχρονος κάθε δευτερόλεπτο, οι THE GREAT SEA προσπαθούν να κρατήσούν κάτι αγαπητό που φαίνεται να ξεθωριάζει:
Η προέλευση της ανθρωπότητας με τον πιο αρχέγονο τρόπο της, με το βάρος των αιώνων την πλάτη μας.

Με την αίσθηση του τι ήταν κάποτε και ένα άγγιγμα αυτού που δεν πρέπει ποτέ να ξεχαστεί, συγκρούονται μέσω ισχυρής επιθετικότητας και συναισθηματικό πένθος, χωρίς να επαναλάβουν όσα έχουν ειπωθεί τόσες φορές πριν.
Μέσα από τα νερά της λήθης, ο πρώτος τους δίσκος λάμπει παγετός, πεσμένα φύλλα και ανήσυχα κύματα.

Οι THE GREAT SEA ιδρύθηκαν το 2022 από τον JR (Long Distance Calling) και SH (Ordeal & Plight) με τη φιλοδοξία να δημιουργήσουν μια ατμόσφαιρα που μπορεί να συμβαδίσει με το μεγαλείο των βουνών και τα φρικτά βάθη της τις θάλασσες, με μια ματιά στο ατέλειωτο σκοτάδι που βρίσκεται πίσω και μπροστά μας.
Για να δώσουν στον ήχο αυτό που του αξίζει, κάλεσαν τον Phil Jonas (Crone, ex-Secrets Of The Moon) και Azathoth (Gràb, ex-Dark Fortress) έως να αφήσουν το στίγμα τους σε αυτόν τον δίσκο, δημιουργώντας μια σύνδεση μεταξύ αυτού του κόσμου και σφαίρες για τις οποίες δεν μπορούμε ποτέ να μιλήσουμε.
Και τα δύο τραγούδια είναι ενσωματωμένα στα υπόλοιπα.

Αυτός ο δίσκος είναι ένα ταξίδι, για να βρείτε τον εαυτό σας, ριζωμένο πίσω εκεί που ανήκει η ανθρωπότητα: Το σπίτι.

THE GREAT SEA proudly present another song from their upcoming debut album “Noble Art Of Desolation”, set for release on April 25th 2025 via AOP Records.

Guitarist SH comments: “The song is about the cold and mystical ecstasy of a dead winter. A’s vocals are as cutting as the guitars, expressing the icy coldness reflected in the lyrics as well. Throwing grapes onto lips of frozen horses…“

As the world turns more modern with every second, THE GREAT SEA tries to hold something dear that seems to fade out: The origin of mankind in its most primordial way, with the burden of aeons on our back.

With the feeling of what once was and a touch of what should never be forgotten they strife through powerful aggression and sentimental bereavement, without repeating what has said so many times before.
Through the waters of forgetfulness their debut-record glitters through frost, fallen leaves and the restless waves.

THE GREAT SEA was founded in 2022 by JR (Long Distance Calling) and SH (Ordeal & Plight) with the ambition to create an atmosphere that can keep up with the majesty of the mountains and the horrible depths of the seas, with a glimpse into the never ending darkness that is behind and before us.
To give the sound what it deserves, they invited Phil Jonas (Crone, ex-Secrets Of The Moon) and Azathoth (Gràb, ex-Dark Fortress) to leave their mark on this record, creating a connection between this world and spheres that can never be spoken of.
Both songs are integrated to the rest of the record with maximum black glue, giving the listener the experience of deep current.
