Australian atmospheric black metallers Ancient Guard announce that on June 14, 2024, they will release their first work, the mini-album “Nightfall Enthroned”, by Iron Bonehead Productions on CD and 12″ vinyl.

Four tracks with a total duration of thirty-one minutes are contained.

“Nightfall Enthroned” is immersive and soothing in the ever-increasing black metal mysticism.
While RUNESPELL’s no less majestic sound is often given in times of bloodshed and battle rage, ANCIENT GUARD is pure magisterial march and might as might be expected from such a nickname.

And Nighttwolf’s knack for mesmerizing melodies applies here too, but if anyone could distance themselves in this regard, it’s that “Nightfall Enthroned” swirls on a spacious yet thick foundation that is equal parts wonder and horror, like a fascinating canvas equally suitable for mad dreamers and strict realists alike.
Followed by the acoustic lament “Eld”, the synth-heavy saga “A Moonscape Abyss” says exactly everything it takes for ANCIENT GUARD: awaken to Nightfall Enthroned!

Περιέχονται τέσσερα κομμάτια συνολικής διάρκειας τριάντα ενός λεπτών.

Το “Nightfall Enthroned” είναι καθηλωτικό και καταπραϋντικό στο συνεχώς αυξανόμενο black metal μυστικισμού.
Ενώ ο όχι λιγότερο μεγαλοπρεπής ήχος των RUNESPELL δίνεται συχνά σε περιόδους αιμοδοσίας και οργής μάχης, το ANCIENT GUARD είναι καθαρό magisterial march and might όπως μπορεί να αναμένεται από ένα τέτοιο παρατσούκλι.
