Rethymno Rocks! returns to St. Paul’s Bastion of the Fortezza with an iconic show, with free admission for all. Legendary Swedish neoclassical pioneers Arcana will make their comeback on Greek soil after 27 years, reminiscing glorious memories from their last show in Greece back in 1999 in Athens.

In the mid-to-late 90s, Arcana began as one of the most important dark neoclassical bands worldwide under the umbrella of the prominent Cold Meat Industry label, subsequently achieving a very successful course with excellent albums and legendary live shows. Their classical and choral elements with trademark male and female vocals and a variety of instruments gave their sound a distinctive and recognizable mark early on, creating a significant fanbase worldwide.

On Wednesday, August 26, Peter and Ia Bjärgö return to Greece and are coming to Rethymno to revive the magical entity of Arcana on stage once again, in a special performance that will feature old songs but also lots of new material. Their ethereal melodies will resonate within the walls of the Fortezza, connecting music with historical memory, the past with the present and light with darkness, in a captivating performance that is not to be missed!
