BEHEMOTH was formed in 1991 by enigmatic frontman and guitarist Adam Nergal Darski and played a decisive role in the now legendary Polish extreme metal scene. Although their roots are undoubtedly in Black Metal, thanks to Nergal’s unique vision, they have evolved into one of the most distinctive bands of recent decades.

Their first releases, “Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic)” and “Grom,” in 1995 and 1996, respectively, established them as a force to be reckoned with, but it was the release of the unrepeatable “Satanica” (1999) and “Thelema.6” (2000) to gain international recognition.

“Demigod”, released in 2004, was a turning point not only for the band but also for extreme metal as a whole. They faced legal challenges in their homeland, but continued to push the boundaries with albums such as “The Apostasy” (2007) and, of course, the iconic “The Satanist” (2014), which was praised by the entire music press and topped many lists of the best metal albums of the decade.

Their latest album, “The Shit Ov God,” is—like all their previous ones—ambitious, incendiary, and extreme in every way! Eight new tracks that delve into the search for mortality and divinity and explore the limits of defiance in everything!

BEHEMOTH are:

Adam ‘Nergal’ Darski – Lead Vocals, Guitar
Zbigniew ‘Inferno’ Promiński – Drums, Percussion
Tomasz ‘Orion’ Wróblewski – Bass, Backing Vocals
Patryk ‘Seth’ Sztyber – Guitar, Backing Vocals

BEHEMOTH’s guest is NIDHOGG, who, after WILCZYCA, is starting his solo career, exploring new paths in Extreme Black Metal sound.

Together with his band, already part of The Unholy Trinity tour, the Polish artist will present material from his new album “Narcissus.”
