Belgium based metal band BEHIND THE VEIL release their new single “Betrayed By Shadows.”  

Delphine (vocalist en lyric writer) explains what the song “Betrayed by shadows” is all about:

’This song has a very emotional meaning for me, because it reflects something I’ve personally experienced. It is about intense emotional pain and betrayal, the kind that leaves a person feeling isolated, broken, and lost. It is about betrayal, deep personal suffering, and the struggle to survive and fight back. It’s like the storm of emotions after someone you trusted turns against you’.

BEHIND THE VEIL is a 2 female fronted melodic metalband originated in Belgium and was born from the ashes of the covid pandemic.

After some lineup changes and releasing two independent singles in 2023 , winning the people’s choice awards at both Metalworks fest (2020) and more recently Mentalfest (2025).

Now, they are back with new songs that can be heard on their Debut EP “Betrayed By Shadows”.

Looking to solidify their live reputation with brand new songs, feeling and passion. 2026 is shaping up to be their biggest year yet.
