Cradle of Filth – “The Screaming of the Valkyries” album review – Napalm Records

“The Screaming of the Valkyries” is the fourteenth studio album by Cradle of Filth.
The album continues the course of the band in the field of symphonic black metal, combining elements from previous works with new musical directions.

For more than thirty years, Cradle of Filth have launched their own lonely street in the vampiric black metal being constantly in the spotlight, with a full discography and a consequence, mainly across the world that follows them.

The debut album of the band ‘The Principle of Evil Made Flesh”, the second of the “Dusk and Her Embrace”, which, for me, is an unsurpassed saga, they did the world of extreme metal is never the same again.
The high standard and provocative, they brought the extreme sound of the era’s many steps ahead of his time.

In the year 2025 the Cradle of Filth present us with “the Screaming of the Valkyries”, a proposition with which nobody can’t agree.
The old friends of the band will enjoy all of these items, that have established the Cradle of Filth the decade of the 90’s, and the younger you will be stripped of all that he has assimilated the band through the years of her presence.

Amazing compositions, coated with a flawless production, which highlights the extreme, the symphonic and the dark atmosphere, in a bloody and creepy canvas that only the mind of Dani Filth could design.

The nine tracks of the album are ready to present their history, which you will need to repeat it to get inside the soul of “the Screaming of the Valkyries”.

Apart from the usual suspects that stands out is the participation of the new keyboard player and singer, Zoe Marie Federoff which with the amazing vocals of gives a new dimension to the sound of the Cradle of Filth.

Overall, “the Screaming of the Valkyries” is coming to raise a little more to the top position, in which they are here and many years of Cradle of Filth and provides another important link between past, present and future.
