CTHULUMINATI releases their new single “The Awakening” to showcase their new direction in the band’s new phase. After the tragic death of their bassplayer Strausz, CTHULUMINATI decided to go back to where they came from and continue the band as a studio project, saying farewell to their drummer Seth. With this new song they want to make a statement.

“The Awakening” marks a new age for the experimental metal duo. In a world flooded with computer generated content there is a counter movement going on. A movement of sincere and organic music made by artists. And it is at the dawn of this wave that Devi and Rami rise with both experience and a sense of renewed purpose. “The Awakening” is a foreboding for what’s to come. So sit back and take it in. Formed in 2014 by Devi Hisgen (Teitan, Stuporous), Rami Wohl, and Stefan Strauz, CTHULUMINATI has always been a band that defies categorization. They have been an active live band from the get go. With Seth van de Loo on drums they released two albums and played with various legendary bands.

In the summer of 2025 Stefan Strausz suffered a haert attack and died on the spot. Now, one year later they are back as a studio duo with loads of new inspiration.
