Death metallers INFERISIUM drop “Scorned by the Wicked”

UK death metal project INFERISIUM has just released its debut EP “Scorned by the Wicked” on December 26, 2025 (self-released), out digitally and on CD.

The EP brings three original tracks and a heavy cover of DISMEMBER’s “Override of the Overture” — a clear nod to the old-school death metal sound that shaped the genre in the first place. Dale Svartr, who writes and records Inferisium, keeps it simple:

“This EP is my tribute to the roots of death metal — raw, uncompromising, and steeped in the old-school vibe. It’s not about perfection, but about capturing the spirit that made this genre timeless.”
