Returning to the Darkness with Psychon (Septicflesh) at the Helm!
The iconic pioneers of the Greek extreme metal scene, Deviser, have officially entered the next chapter of their 37-year journey. The band is currently working at the newly upgraded Psychon Productions Studio in Athens, laying the foundations for the production of their sixth full-length album.
Once again, Psychon (guitarist of Septicflesh) takes the helm as producer, ensuring a sonic result worthy of the band’s long-standing legacy.
After nearly four decades of existence, Deviser return with a songwriting approach that is both more mature and more aggressive than ever before. The upcoming album promises to push their sound well beyond the acclaimed Evil Summons Evil. Featuring new guitar tunings, razor-sharp riffs, and subtly crafted orchestral arrangements incorporating brass and strings, the new material redefines the dark atmosphere that has become the band’s trademark while injecting it with fresh ideas and boundless passion.
Melody and darkness—the two fundamental elements of Deviser’s DNA—once again take center stage in a musical journey filled with intensity and emotion.
The finished album is expected to be released in approximately one year, serving as a small token of gratitude to the fans who have stood by the band through every high and low throughout this remarkable journey.
More details, song titles, and exclusive studio updates will be revealed gradually in the months ahead.
The fire still burns bright.
