DISTORTED REFLECTION are recording their second album with guest guitarist Jack Starr!

Distorted Reflection are currently recording their second album at Fragile Studio in Athens.
The album will be released in early 2026 via German Iron Shield Records and will feature popular guitarist Jack Starr as a special guest.
The legendary founding member of Virgin Steele who is also widely known for his solo work will play the solo for the opening song “3000 A.D.”
His new solo album “Out Of The Darkness Part II” will be released on April 25th via Bravewords Records.

In August 2022, Kostas Sal (ex-Sorrows Path) formed Distorted Reflection.
They are fully committed to his particular doom vision, but even heavier.

The famous Tomas Arfert (Candlemass, Krux) created the logo and also edited all the artwork for the band’s first album. This was titled “Doom Rules Eternally” and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Fragile Studio by Vangelis Yal.
The album was released via Germany’s Iron Shield Records on February 9, 2024. Although Distorted Reflection kept a low profile stance (no live/signings, no audio/video interviews), sales and feedback on the album have been amazing with excellent reviews and multiple radio airplay worldwide.

In February 2025, the band re-entered Fragile Studio to record their second album.
Same for the artwork and the label, Tomas Arfert and Iron Shield Records will do the work and together they all aim for another successful release.

The band will again feature some popular special guest.
Notable guitarist Jack Starr will play the solo for the opening song “3000 A.D.” for the album, which will be released in early 2026…
