DOOMNEZEU signs with Wormholedeath and releases new single “Spânul”

Wormholedeath is pleased to announce the signing of Romanian doom metal band DOOMNEZEU to its roster. The band has entered a licensing agreement for the release of their forthcoming album”Dați drumul la cer”, with further details to be announced.

To mark the occasion, DOOMNEZEU has released “Spânul,” the first single from the album. The track is accompanied by a lyric video, available now on YouTube.

“Spânul” — “The Hairless” in English — takes its name from a recurring antagonist in Romanian fairy tales: a trickster figure who poses as a helper to the hero while covertly working against them. The band has described the song as a warning to lurking wrongdoers: God is always watching.

“Our deepest thanks to Wormholedeath for their gracious interest in our music!” The band stated. “We proudly announce that our upcoming album ‘Dați drumul la cer’ will be released on their Italian label. Beginning our journey together, we present to you the first single off the album, the song ‘Spânul’. This is a stark reminder to the lurking evildoers of the world: God is always watching. We look forward to seeing you all on tour starting on April 17th and to all the hard work still left on the album. Doomneajută!”

The single release coincides with the start of an eight-date Romanian tour alongside BOSSFERATU and DRONISIE RASARITEANUL, running from April 17 to 25.
