Swedish progressive metallers EVERGREY have announced the departure of longtime guitar player Henrik Danhage, who originally joined the group in 2000 (he left the group in 2010 before rejoining in 2014).
In a statement shared on April 7 via social media, the band confirmed the split was mutual and framed it as a natural transition into a new phase for both parties.
EVERGREY and Henrik have mutually decided to part ways after working together on and off for 21 years. It is now time for a new chapter for both parties. We wish each other all the best for the future and look forward to new music from both EVERGREY and Henrik. Stay tuned.
This line up change does not affect their plans to release their fifteenth album, “Architects Of A New Weave”, due June 5, 2026 via Napalm Records.
