GORGOROTH announces live album recorded during their March 2025 European Tour

Legendary Norwegian black metal force GORGOROTH has revealed that a new live album is officially in the works, captured during their March 2025 European tour celebrating the band’s monumental 33rd anniversary. The recordings, made throughout the tour in collaboration with Massive Music, aim to deliver the raw, uncompromising atmosphere of GORGOROTH’s revered live performances.

Currently, founding guitarist Infernus is spearheading the mixing process alongside Øystein G. Brun (known for his work with BORKNAGAR) at Crosound Studio, ensuring the production stays true to the band’s dark and visceral sonic legacy.

Further details — including tracklist, cover art, and release date — to be announced soon.

Brun commented: “Currently working with my good old friend Infernus, mixing the upcoming live album of GORGOROTH. The material was recorded during their European tour in March 2025, organized Massive Music, celebrating their 33rd anniversary. Recordings where eminently conducted by Oscar Carre, also known for working with ROTTING CHRIST, BORKNAGAR and many more.
