Greek guitarist Gus G. released today, via Metal Department Records, his new solo album titled “Steel Burner,” five years after his last release. It features unique instrumental compositions as well as some very important collaborations.
One of these is with legendary frontman Matt Barlow (ICED EARTH, ASHES OF ARES) on the track “Dancing With Death,” whose video clip was also released today.
Speaking about the album in the past, he stated:
“This is my first solo album in five years. As I’ve been quite busy in the post-pandemic world with extensive touring, I always had the idea of releasing another solo record at some point. This time around, I felt I wanted the best of both worlds — being able to explore instrumental guitar music, but also collaborate with singers I love and admire.”
