Danish Black Metal duo, Kold, present their sophomore album “Det Falmede Håb” (The Faded Hope). An album that, with broad brushstrokes, moves across themes ranging from the isolating nature of loneliness to the embrace of community.
On this new record, the band deliberately step away from stylistic exercises that rely only on the classic elements of the second wave of Norwegian Βlack Μetal. Instead, with “Det Falmede Håb”, they expand their musical universe beyond genre-bound frameworks and shape a soundscape that is fuller, more atmospheric, and marked by bold new choices.
Since their self-titled EP in 2021, KOLD have been part of Vendetta Records, the German label known for supporting artists such as AFSKY, VERHEERER and NAXEN. With “Det Falmede Håb”, the duo continue that journey, delivering a record that reflects both their growth and their will to move forward.
The album is available now on all streaming platforms, with physical editions on CD and vinyl to follow through Vendetta Records.
