International black metal supergroup MORBIKON are back and they’ve got a new album titled “Lost Within The Astral Crypts” coming out on November 21 via Tankcrimes. And the first taste of what’s to come, they released the album’s first single “Heavens That Burn And Eons Divided”.
Guitarist and bassist Phil Hall mentioned about the new album:
“This album feels like some of my darkest material yet. I filled these songs to the brim with atmosphere and riffs. There are moments during the album that truly feel soaked in classic ‘90s underground blasphemy.”
As far as the single “Heavens That Burn And Eons Divided” is concerned, Hall said it’s the perfect hint at what the rest of the album has to offer.
“We picked out this track to be the opener on Lost Within The Astral Crypts because it perfectly depicts the insanity within the album. We took great pleasure in making the atmosphere and riffs as dark as possible. There are so many doors open within melodic black metal that I wanted to explore. This song touches on a little of everything within the album and offers a perfect setup.”
