Turkish black metal pioneers MORIBUND OBLIVION have released the official music video for the song “In the Middle of the Dark Chaos,” a powerful track from their latest album, “Intertemporal.” The new video captures the dark atmosphere and powerful sonic identity that the band has cultivated over more than two decades on the black metal scene.

“In the Middle of the Dark Chaos” offers a relentless combination of aggression, atmosphere, and philosophical depth, reflecting the conceptual themes that run throughout “Intertemporal.” The track was written by Bahadır Uludağlar, who composed both the music and the lyrics, while the arrangements were collectively crafted by MORIBUND OBLIVION. The song’s imposing sound was mixed by Feyzi Ocak and mastered by Erman Aydöner at Lavega Sound Studio, ensuring a powerful and captivating auditory experience.

The video was directed and edited by Kenan Haliloğlu, whose visual approach brings the song’s dark narrative to life through vivid imagery and a cinematic aesthetic. Thomas Hammarström handled the color grading, while Onur Karaca from Pusula Işık took charge of the lighting, adding depth and atmosphere to the production. Behind-the-scenes footage was captured by Alper Şengül, and filming took place at Josephine Studio. The entire production was executed by X Medya, bringing together a creative team that translated Moribund Oblivion’s dark vision into a dynamic visual form.

With the release of this official video, MORIBUND OBLIVION continue to expand the visual and artistic world of “Intertemporal,” further cementing their position as one of the most influential and timeless black metal bands from Turkey.
