Scottish progressive/post-metal duo ELECTRIC SUN DEFENCE presents first single and music video “Estuary”

Glasgow, UK based progressive/post-metal dui ELECTRIC SUN DEFENCE presents a music video for their first single “Estuary”, available now on all streaming platforms.

“Estuary” is the title track from ELECTRIC SUN DEFENCE’s debut album, scheduled for release on May 8th, 2026 via Road To Masochist.

The song explores the uneasy coexistence of anxiety and sorrow alongside contentment and hope – the duality of living with conflicting inner states that never fully resolve.

Says the band:

We are excited to present the first taste of Electric Sun Defence.

This track is called »Estuary« and is the title track on our debut album, more on that to come. For now, listen now on all streaming services. There’s also a video released for the track which can be viewed on YouTube.

We are delighted to be working with boundary pushing underground heroes Road To Masochist with this release. Such an honour to be part of their esteemed roster of bands. Ba’al, Row Of Ashes, Iron Slug, Cattle Hammer to name but a few.

Mixed by Graeme Young at Chamber Studio.
Mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music.
