SYSTEM OF A DOWN vocalist Serj Tankian shared his song “Sonic Expulsions” last Friday. That track emerges as part of a weekly series of debuts of songs from his “Covers, Collaborations & Collages” compilation, which is due out next Friday, October 24th. Tankian has been premiering a new track from that collection each Friday leading up to next week’s final reveal of the album’s closing track, “When Death Arrives“.
Tankian commented: “I wrote this song in New Zealand about a decade ago. It started with acoustic guitar and was built out with beats and different instrumentation. The vocals are a one-take stream of consciousness about love. It’s a lighthearted track and kind of silly in some parts. Enjoy!”
