Short Bio
Shadowmass formed in 2019, releasing their self-titled debut album in December of the same year through the French label Somann Records.

As the world entered the pandemic era, the band established their base at Ignite Studio, where—after several relocations—the creative core of Shadowmass finally found stability. During this period, the material for the Oculus Diaboli EP was composed, along with a significant part of what would later evolve into the band’s second full-length album.

The EP was released on vinyl in September 2021 through a collaboration with Metal Throne Productions.

Between 2019 and 2025, Shadowmass maintained a steady and deliberate presence in the live circuit. The band performed a series of selective shows across Greece and appeared abroad in Austria, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Romania, sharing the stage with notable acts such as Hate, Suffocation and Belphegor. Highlights include their appearance at the Slap n Panic Festival, the Worshippers of the Void tour (co-headline with Decipher), and the Death Worship Tour across Greece and the Balkans, followed by a memorable special-guest performance at Mortuary Drape’s show in Athens. This cycle of live activity culminated in September 2025, with Shadowmass performing in four European cities as part of the Black Curse Tour, marking the peak of an increasingly focused and expanding touring schedule.

In 2022, Shadowmass entered the studio to record their second full-length album, approaching the production with meticulous attention to sonic detail, cohesion and clarity. The recording sessions took place at Pentagram Studio, with mixing and mastering completed on site, ensuring a final result that is balanced, dynamic and thoroughly refined. The recording phase—two months of concentrated work (April–May 2022)—resulted in one of the band’s most disciplined and professionally realized works to date.
