Southern California deathcore juggernauts SPITE have confirmed the release of their highly anticipated new album, “New World Killer”, arriving October 31, 2025 via Rise Records. Pre-orders are live now.
To mark the announcement, the band — Darius Tehrani on vocals, Alex Tehrani on guitar, Ben Bamford on bass, and Travis Regnier on drums — have unleashed the first single “Lights Out”, accompanied by a chilling, NSFW video that matches the song’s ferocity.
The clip is a disturbing feast of twisted religious imagery, creeping shadows, and furious performance footage — capped by a barrage of brutal figure-eight headbanging. It’s grotesque, unholy, and undeniably SPITE. There’s also a pretty gruesome final scene.
“‘Lights Out’ is a depiction of lack in social awareness,” the Tehrani brothers explain. “Not everyone’s boundaries are shared. The most dangerous person is the one who has nothing to lose.”
Musically, “Lights Out” is a relentless barrage of deathcore aggression, filled with surgically sharp riffs, precision blast beats, and hellbound vocals that land like a series of haymakers to the throat. It’s a statement of intent for an album that promises to push SPIKE into darker, more devastating territory.
