TRIUMPHER decided to stay true to their values and terminate their cooperation with Dustin Smith only days after announcing him as their new bassist. The reason is an incident that took place at the recent Keep It True Festival, which had also been mentioned by the festival’s organizer, Oliver Weinsheimer. More specifically, TRIUMPHER’s statement was as follows:
Due to an unacceptable incident involving a security worker at the Keep It True Legions festival, we have decided not to proceed with the addition of the bassist we had recently announced as a member of our band.
Such behavior is completely at odds with our values and has no place in our community.

The festival organizers had written about the incident:
Beyond all the joy we experienced last weekend, we unfortunately also had two incidents where we were forced to remove individuals from the festival. One incident involved violence and physical assault against fans and our security staff, while the other involved urinating in the crowd, inappropriate contact with women, and violence. Both individuals will be banned from future KIT events. We have zero tolerance for this antisocial behavior at our venue. I wanted to post this publicly to warn in advance anyone who thinks they can act like jerks and to make them aware of the consequences.
