Albanian band MORGU released their new EP, “Offerings”

MORGU’s new EP “Offerings” is a concept record built around the life of a single character, explored through different moments across their existence. Across five songs, the album follows a journey shaped by devotion, betrayal, memory and spiritual exhaustion, gradually moving from personal suffering toward broader existential reflection.

The story centres on a protagonist who has given everything (faith, blood, heart and identity) in pursuit of a figure that is both divine and cursed. What begins as an act of devotion slowly reveals itself as a tale of illusion and treachery, symbolised by the recurring image of seven knives driven into the back and heart. As the narrative unfolds, memories fade, voices grow distant and time wears away at the soul, leaving behind a meditation on lost faith, broken intimacy and the persistence of memory.
