CEMETERY SKYLINE have shared a new remix of “Torn Away” reworked by US darkwave duo ghostbell, as part of their upcoming deluxe reissue of “Nordic Gothic”.
Vocalist Mikael Stanne explained about the origina version:
This is a song about wilful disconnection from everything and everyone and its eventual ramifications.
Bassist Victor Brandt added:
There’s a pulse in this remix that feels made for dark places and loud nights. We hope you like it and we are looking forward to seeing you in dark, loud venues on CEMETERY SKYLINE’s tour this May.
The remix forms part of “Nordic Gothic (Deluxe Edition)”, an expanded version of the band’s album about which guitarist Markus Vanhala said:
We’ve been having so much fun in this misery called Nordic Gothic that we just decided to release it again! As you notice, we recorded some more songs during the original sessions, so here’s the full Nordic Gothic saga shining in the dark.
“Unreleased material, the standalone single releases, NYC acoustic live tracks that show a different side of the songs as well as something completely different: the remixes by outside artists! This should be a pretty cool deluxe edition with a disc full of unreleased material. N-joy!
