Following the successful Dark Tales from Medieval Times, Chilean band DOLEZALL presents their third full-length album: The Book of Mysteries, a 10-track work exploring some of history’s greatest unsolved mysteries.

From Jack the Ripper to Land of Vampires, the band immerses us in a sonic journey filled with melodic metal, power metal, and hard rock, with a narrative that blends history, horror, and suspense. Stories of unsolved mysteries have always attracted me.
I feel their themes contain elements of suspense that can be very compelling to represent musically, especially in the genre we play says Carlos Dolezal, drummer and founder of the band. “Talking about, for example, Jack the Ripper or the Bloody Countess Erzebeth Bathory motivates me to write lines full of darkness and terror he adds.

The new album was produced by Nicolás Arce, the bandguitarist, while the lyrics were entirely written by Carlos Dolezal. The lineup is completed by vocalist Felipe del Valle and bassist Rainer Hemmelmann, creating a work that the band considers their best to date.
