ELYSION announced their new album and released the first single, “Guardian Angel”

On October 16th 2026, Greek Atmopsheric Metallers ELYSION will put out their next studio record entitled “Identity”. It was mixed by Fotis Bernardo at Devasoundz Studio and mastered by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions.

To celebrate the announcement, ELYSION have released the album’s first single and official video, “Guardian Angel”, available now on all digital platforms.

Vocalist Christianna Chatzimichali comments:

‘Guardian Angel’ was an obvious choice for the first single. It carries the emotional intensity, energy and character that define Identity. While the video focuses on a very important social issue, the song itself can resonate differently with every listener and become part of their own personal story.

According to the band, “Identity” is much more than simply a collection of songs. Conceived as a celebration of ELYSION’s twenty-year journey, the album serves as a heartfelt tribute to the fans who have supported the band throughout their career and to the worldwide hard rock and metal community as a whole.

The band states:

‘Identity’ is the most mature, intense and daring album we have ever created. It is true to our roots, but at the same time pushes our music further than ever before. In many ways, it represents exactly who we are today and what we have learned over twenty years of making music together. This album is our way of thanking everyone who stood by our side and believed in our songs.

“Identity” also includes two special guest appearances. Greek metal icon Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) lends his unmistakable voice to “Harvest”, while Konstantinos Togas (Nightrage, Herta) joins ELYSION on “The Last Ride”.
