On 7 June, the first single, “Wanderer in den Schatten”, from the new album “Knochenkabinett” was released – and now the mysterious and reclusive Wallfahrer is climbing to the “Gipfelthron”. You can experience this musically and lyrically in the new video below available since 6 July – an eleven-minute, solitary journey into the heart of mother nature.

The band had already released their highly acclaimed debut album “Anthologie der Abkehr” independently at the end of April 2018, with the creators remaining completely anonymous even when it came to the band’s biography.

From the outset, the musicians deliberately kept their identities and backgrounds under wraps so as not to distract from the idea behind the band, or its message or statement.

Given their musical prowess, speculation arose in the music press and within genre circles that established musicians were behind the project.
