ZVINDIYAR is an atmospheric death metal project based in Bahrain, drawing inspiration from Persian and Arabian mythology, cinematic atmosphere, and ritualistic visual aesthetics. Blending the aggression of death metal with progressive structures, ambient textures, and mythological storytelling, ZVINDIYAR exists as an entity and conceptual world rather than a personality-driven band.

The project’s debut single, “Anqa,” premiered via Metal Hammer and was voted Best New Metal Song of the Week by the magazine’s readers. Following the releases of “Anqa” and “Fell,” ZVINDIYAR now unveil “Shadhavar,” the final single and closing chapter before the release of their six-track debut, Six Rites, arriving worldwide on September 3, 2026, with Bandcamp early access beginning on August 20.

“Six Rites” explores themes of transformation, collapse, destruction, mortality, and transcendence through a cinematic fusion of atmospheric death metal and mythological storytelling.
