Golden R. Festival continues its milestone announcements for the 2027 edition, adding one of the most historic and uncompromising forces in the global extreme music scene to its lineup. Austrian blackened death metal veterans BELPHEGOR will descend upon Nea Anchialos on July 2, 3 & 4, 2027.
For the summer of 2027, the band is preparing their specially designed, ritualistic show, “Sanctus Bestiam Procession” — a high-end audiovisual production featuring infernal theatrics, fire and uncompromising sound. Following the confirmation of this exclusive concept at European festival giants such as Wacken Open Air and Brutal Assault, Golden R. Festival has secured Nea Anchialos as one of the few selected destinations to host this rare spectacle.
With more than three decades of uninterrupted activity and having recently been honored with the Amadeus Austrian Music Award 2023, BELPHEGOR return to Greece, with the band’s founder, Helmuth, stating characteristically: “Can’t wait to return to Greece!”
Continuing its steady upward trajectory, Golden R. Festival is turning Nea Anchialos into a major destination for fans of heavy music from across Greece and abroad, combining top domestic and international acts with a high-standard production.
