MADNESS OF SORROW have released the official music video for “Infernal Ascension” on their YouTube channel. The track is the third single taken from their latest studio album, “The Silent Sovereign”, which was released at the end of 2025 via Ad Noctem Records.

Following the two more elaborate videos for “Rise of the Fallen” and “King of Lies”, the Italian horror gothic metal band opted for an energetic and visually striking studio playthrough video featuring a raw aesthetic, sepia tones, and vintage-style film grain. The clip puts the spotlight on the band’s pure performance, showcasing each musician in their own studio environment.

Formed in 2011 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Murihell, Madness of Sorrow deliver a powerful and hard-hitting brand of horror metal that blends industrial aggression, groove, and gothic atmospheres, drawing inspiration from genre heavyweights such as Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Ministry. With a solid discography that includes five full-length albums and the 2022 EP “666: The Disciple”, the band continues the concept introduced in “The Silent Sovereign”, centering on the frontman’s demonic possession. Now fully determined to conquer the world by climbing the ranks of political power, the storyline pays tribute to The Omen film series.
