METALLICA shared footage of their “Master Of Puppets” performance from a small show in Amagansett, New York, on August 28th, 2025. They played for just 500 fans in a tent, marking their most intimate gig in a decade. The event celebrated the launch of SiriusXM’s Maximum METALLICA channel.
Though they played a full 14-song set, the band’s so far only released video footage of them playing the 1986 classic from the album of the same name.
n 2026, METALLICA will perform for much larger crowds on their M72 World Tour. They will visit Europe and the UK from May to July, joined by GOJIRA, KNOKED LOOSE, PANTERA and AVATAR on select dates.
