MISTY ROUTE are prerparing to release a new album after five years and on January 16, 2026, they will release their new single “Blind God“, which serves as the first official taste of their upcoming album “Ethos“. The track will be available on all digital platforms, marking the beginning of a new era for the Athenian alternative metal band.

“Blind God” is approximately six minutes long and moves on dark, atmospheric paths and lyrical content that touches on existential and social issues. The song examines the concept of God through the eyes of a child trying to understand the violence, injustice and pain around him. The lyrics raise questions about the existence and role of a higher power in a world where people are born with disabilities, children are killed in wars and the abuse of power permeates institutions and religion.

“Blind God” is accompanied by a video clip directed by Dimitris Giannoulakis, starring Maro Charalambidou and Sandy Makropoulou. The recording was carried out at 9800 Studios by Antonis Kontozoglou, mixed by George Prokopiou at Jerry’s Studios and mastered by Hector.D (Hector Tsolakis).

The new album “Ethos” is expected to be released on March 20, 2026 through the French label Bitume, in digital format but also in physical editions, namely digipack CD and colored vinyl.
