Dissonance Productions has announced the release of “Bridge To Resolution”, the debut solo album by legendary NAPALM DEATH bassist and songwriter Shane Embury, to be issued on CD and vinyl on June 5.

Embury started writing the album during the pandemic, explaining it is about addiction, mental issues, and life. The album description explains that it covers many of the topics from his 2023 autobiography, “Life? …And Napalm Death”.

This album is a very special album – those closest to me know it’s been a struggle on many levels for me these past few years! It’s life but we all have that chance to be the best versions of ourselves for those we truly love .. this album lyrically dives into the darkness but in the darkness we can reach towards the light.”

Sonically, it’s a much different approach than what Embury is known for, with influcnes of Cocteau Twins, Killing Joke, and The Mission showing through. 

He also released the first single, “Spasm Prayer.”
