A few days ago AT THE GATES’ singer Tomas Lindberg passed away after losing his battle with cancer. Tomas and his band greatly influenced the Melodic Death Metal Scene especially during the ’90s. TEMOR, a band from Volos, Greece, who follow a similar musical path, wanted to honor Lindberg’s memory and contribution by covering AT THE GATES’ “Blinded By Fear.”

The band released the following statement:

“As a band, we decided to cover ‘Blinded By Fire’ as a tribute to Tomas Lindberg and AT THE GATES. This band has been one of our greatest inspirations – not only in shaping our sound but also in giving us the drive to start playing this kind of music in the first place. Tomas’ voice and presence have left a huge mark on us, and this cover is our way of saying thank you for everything his music has given us.

This one truly comes straight from the heart.”
