Silver Lining Music will release “No Life ‘Til Leather – A Tribute To Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All “on November 14, celebrating one of heavy metal’s most groundbreaking debuts with a stacked roster of legendary and rising acts. The first single comes from THE ALMIGHTY, delivering a blistering, full-throttle take on “The Four Horsemen” — their first recorded track with the founding lineup since 1991.
Ricky Warwick, the frontman of THE ALMIGHTY said: “METALLICA has been a huge influence for us, so when the opportunity came along it was a no-brainer. We did the whole thing in a day and a half with as much power and passion as you’d expect from THE ALMIGHTY. Turn it up really, really loud!”
This tribute assembles a who’s who of heavy music — from METALLICA’s early heroes SAXON, DIAMOND HEAD and MOTORHEAD to modern torchbearers like TAILGUNNER and Swedish prog metallers SOEN. Thrash titans TESTAMENT, ex-MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, and NWOBHM veterans TYGGERS OF PAN TANG also join the lineup. Closing the set is a thunderous “Metal Militia” by RAVEN, who famously toured with METALLICA on 1983’s “Kill ‘Em All” For One tour.
