Emerging from the depths of emotional expression and sonic grandeur, THE LUCIDIA PROJECT proudly present their latest release, “The Twilight Affliction”, now available on all major streaming platforms.

Fusing symphonic metal with alternative, doom, and death metal elements, this six-track EP weaves intimate, confessional lyrics through a massive and atmospheric soundscape. “The Twilight Affliction” is a stirring journey through darkness and vulnerability—moody, orchestral, and unapologetically honest.

Formed in 2022 by Chase Baldwin (vocals, keyboards) and Benjamin Jacobs (bass), THE LUCIDIA PROJECT channels the emotive power of Tori Amos, Nightwish, and Katatonia. With the additions of Daniel Williams (guitar), Garrett Carroll (guitar), and Aaron Bedford (drums), the band has solidified a lineup capable of delivering both studio brilliance and immersive live performances.

Following their acclaimed 2023 EP “Requiem” and the 2024 single “Soul Killer”, the new EP represents a massive leap in sound and vision. Produced by Danny Meyer, with co-production and engineering by Baldwin, “The Twilight Affliction” is the band’s most cohesive and emotionally resonant work to date.

“This EP is a journey through the darker corners of the human experience—loss, disillusionment, resilience,” says Baldwin. “It’s not just about grief or despair; it’s about finding clarity in the twilight, even when the light fades.”
