Greek black/death metal force WARHAMMER return with their new single “Tailspin,” the second advance track from their upcoming concept album, set for release in 2026. Ferocious, chaotic and deliberately unforgiving, “Tailspin” captures the band at their most violent and unrestrained so far, pushing their sound further into the abyss while sharpening every blow.
Built on a foundation of relentless riffing, cavernous low end and venomous vocals, “Tailspin” distills everything WARHAMMER have been working toward since shifting from their thrash origins to a black/death identity in 2021. The track was composed with the live stage in mind, aiming to become a permanent weapon in the band’s ritualistic setlists, a moment where chaos and precision collide.
“‘Tailspin’ is the second single from our upcoming album and one of its most powerful, chaotic tracks. For us it is the definition of raw violence and what extreme sound should be,” says vocalist Hercules Giotis. “When we were writing it, we wanted a song that would destroy live, something that would fit perfectly into our rituals and leave nothing standing.”
All recording, mixing and production for the new album took place at the renowned Hertz Studio in Poland, with producer Wojtek Wieslowski at the helm. Known for his work with extreme metal heavyweights, Wojtek helped shape an uncompromising yet detailed sound, where every blast beat, every riff and every shriek cuts through with surgical force.
“Tailspin” arrives accompanied by an official music video, amplifying the song’s sense of psychological freefall with stark, ritualistic imagery. The visual component mirrors the track’s lyrical focus on collapse, spiritual violence and the moment when control is lost completely.
Fans of Behemoth, Watain and Belphegor will find familiar territories of blasphemous intensity and ritualistic atmosphere, filtered through WARHAMMER’s own vision and the unsettling presence of saxophone driven textures that define the new era of the band.
“Tailspin” will be available on all major streaming platforms from December 5, 2025.
