Poland’s premier architects of unholy chaos, AZARATH, return to claim their place at the altar of extremity. Emerging from a six-year silence following “Saint Desecration” (2020), the death metal group will release its new album titled “Scorn Eternal” on November 20 via Agonia Records.
“Scorn Eternal” conjures a cataclysm of sinister blast beats and possessed riffs, shattering dogma in a blistering onslaught of sacrilegious death metal. Unyielding, malicious, and executed with surgical precision, the band continues to fuel the black flame with their line-up intact & fit for sonic carnage: drummer Inferno (from the ranks of Behemoth), guitarist Bart (Armageddon, Damnation), bassist Peter (ex-Lost Soul) and vocalist Skullripper (Embrional, Hellfuck). This time, the album is enriched with an epic feel and new elements that were not present in earlier recordings.
“Scorn Eternal” was recorded at Sound of Records Studio between December 2025 & May 2026, and mixed at Studio Wieloślad in June 2026. The album was engineered, mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg (Satanic Audio). The cover artwork was painted by Marta Promińska (Hypnagogic Art).
AZARATH crept from the shadows over two decades ago and stands as a pillar of uncompromising Polish death metal, often touted as a demonic mutation of Krisiun and Immolation. The band has spent seven acclaimed albums – most recently 2020’s “Saint Desecration” – decimating stages across Europe and building a ferocious reputation for relentless, blasphemous brutality.
