Finnish melodic black metal band i Helvete has released a new song Hiljaisuuteen. The song is the second single from the band’s upcoming third album, Halla, which will be released on November 6th. The album’s first single Nälkätalvi was selected as one of Metal Hammer’s Tracks of the Week alongside 11 other songs. It was also added for example Season of Mist’s and Noble Demon Records’ Spotify playlists.
“Hiljaisuuteen had one of the longest composition processes. The opening sections were finished for a very long time, but completing the song proved difficult. Eventually a flamenco-inspired riff on acoustic guitar – played at the kitchen table, opened the path to finishing the song. With the saxophones and the closing solo the track ended up becoming one of my personal favorites of everything we’ve done so far.” The band’s vocalist-guitarist Aleksi Mäkelä comments.
